Joseph Coonan

Joseph leads the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department of the firm and has gained extensive experience as a litigation and advocacy solicitor. He advises in the areas of personal injury claims, property claims, defective product claims, medical negligence, healthcare and childcare law. Joseph has also extensive experience in the areas of Judicial review and injunctive proceedings. Joseph has extensive experience of representing clients in court and appearing personally on their behalf and also attending the High and Circuit Courts.

Experience

Joseph has extensive experience in advising clients in the areas of personal injury, medical negligence and regularly appears in court as an advocate on behalf of clients. He has delivered lectures to the Child and Family Agency in the areas of Childcare Law and Criminal Defense. He has experience in the area of representing clients in the area of Foreign Adoptions and has worked previously for the Child and Family Agency as a childcare solicitor and for the HSE in the areas of healthcare, judicial review, mental health and wardship.
